Tottenham vs Panathinaikos Betting Odds
Tottenham are looking for their first ever victory on Greek soil in their match against Panathinaikos in the Europa League on Friday.
Tottenham drew with Lazio in their first game but the odds are in their favour this time around.
Bookies have given Spurs odds of 1/3 on a victory while Panathinaikos are definitely outsiders with odds of 11/1.
It is expected that the Greeks will go with one up front with Bruno Fornaroi leading the line. The team will be hoping that players such as Lazaros Christdoulopoulos in midfield will be a match for Spurs.
Spurs are expected to go with a fairly strong team. It is thought that Hugo Lloris might get to spend some time in goal after playing in the game against Lazio. Jermain Defoe is expected to stay up front with support from Clint Dempsey.
Panathinaikos haven’t managed to beat an Englsih team since they played Arsenal in the 2001 Champions League. The team hasn’t scored in their last three European Games; however, they haven’t yet conceded a goal at home this season.
This is the first time that these two teams meet and it’s sure to be an exciting match. However, at the end of the day Spurs should win it without too much trouble.
