Real Madrid vs. Ajax Betting Odds Preview
Tonight Real Madrid and Ajax meet in the Champions League with Real Madrid knowing that they will finish second place in Group D.
Ajax are third in the group and have everything to play for with a place in the Europa League up for grabs.
However, bookies have chosen Real Madrid as the clear favourite to win this match.
Fans will find odds of 1/3 on a Madrid victory whereas Ajax are outsiders at 10/1.
Because of Real Madrid’s strong position it is thought that Jose Mourinho may make some changes to his starting XI.
So far this season Raphael Varane has been impressive in his occasional appearances and because of Alvaro Arbeloa’s suspension Varane may have a chance to start.
Mourinho has been making a lot of use of Xabi Alonso recently and there is a chance he will be able to sit this one out and allow Luka Modric to drop into a deeper place in midfield.
However, Mourinho will still want to end this stage on a high so stars such as Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema will still be playing.
Ajax has a real uphill struggle ahead, however, Danny Hoesen has been looking good and there is a chance fans will see him score.
