San Francisco 49ers vs St Louis Rams Betting Odds

This Sunday the San Francisco 49ers will be taking on the St Louis Rams and all eyes will be on 49ers coach Jim Harbaugh as he prepares to make a decision on his starting quarterback.

The match is not really an equal one; the bookies have given the 49ers odds of 4/11 on a win and St Louis Rams 45/16.

However, the 49ers really need to decide who their starting quarterback is and Sunday’s match is probably when it will be revealed.

Harbaugh has to choose between Alex Smith and Colin Kaepernick, both of which have started and won games for the side.

Harbaugh said that he needs to make a decision so the players “players aren’t all pressured [with], ‘Who is it?’ “

Many are expecting that Kaepernick will be picked. Harbaugh already went with him on Sunday instead of Smith and Kaepernick showed excellent signs that he’s the better choice.

As a player he has the bigger arm, he’s a threat to run and has reached the stage where coaching staff can be sure that he will make the correct calls at the line of scrimmage and correct reads once the ball in snapped.

If prediections are correct then we can all expect to see Kaepernick starting against the Rams this weekend.
