Toulouse vs. Lyon Betting Odds
There are only three points separating the top seven teams in Ligue 1 and leaders Lyon will be taking on Toulouse this Sunday.
Bookies have given the home team the advantage with odds of 13/8, however, Lyon aren’t too far behind at 59/29.
Should the league leaders loose this match, they will certainly slip down the rankings a bit as they have played one game more than the teams chasing them.
Writing for the Lyon club website, Coach Remi Garde said that “being in the top spot doesn’t change anything for this match, especially this far out from the end of the season.”
He said that he is more focused on the way the team has played in recent matches “to see what parts of our game we should keep and which should be corrected or thrown out.”
Alain Casanova, the Toulouse boss, said that the Lyon side has “fewer individuals than in the past” but said that the side showed “collective strength.” As a result he believes that they are “real contenders for the title, this is the team that can really challenge Paris St. Germain.”
Garde said of Toulouse that “they’re a side who, in their last three or four season, haven’t just caused problems for Lyon. They’re solid with a promising squad.
