ATP World Tour Finals Begin in London
The ATP World Tour Finals are underway at the O2 arena in London and all the top players there competing for the title.
The first exciting match sees Andy Murray take on Tomas Berdych.
Of course Murray is strong favourite to win the match, bookies have given him odds of 4/11 on a victory, Berdych is far behind with 5/2. However, in his last three matches Murray has lost after holding match point, most recently against Jerzy Janowicz in Paris. Nonetheless a win would be a fantastic end to an incredible year for Murray.
However, as always the focus is on Djokovic and Federer. Djokovic is ranked No 1 in the world since Federer lost the Basel final a few weeks ago.
His first match is against Jo-Wilfried Tsonga and of course Djokovic is strong favourite to win with odds of 1/5, Tsonga trails with odds of 56/13.
Federer has won this event six times, however, even if he manages a seventh win, he still won’t reclaim the number 1 spot. He begins his campaign with a match against Janko Tipsarevic, Federer is 1/8 favourite to win, Tipsarevic is a real outsider at 83/11.
If Federer wins the tournament it will leave pressure on Djokovic to prove himself once again next season.
