After the Opening Ceremony Olympics Crazy Bets Update

Did you place a bet on what colour hat the Queen would wear for the opening ceremony of the Olympics? According to the USA Today, the queen wore peach. If you made that bet, you won 2-1.

Well never forget James Bond hanging (and jumping) out with the Queen. Now the world knows why you love Mr. Bean so much. Now onto the games and the more down to earth odds!

In March and again June, we wrote two articles on long odds for the Olympics. The colour of the queens hat was one of many interesting bets that punters could make. William Hill offered odds (really!) on whether a UFO would appear at the opening ceremony of the London Olympics. They offered 1,000 to 1 odds.

If news reports are correct, this didnt happen. In fact, no UFOs were reported anywhere in the vicinity of London (unless you count punks with fluorescent hair). But a lot of fun went down on Friday night. We tip our hats to the Brits for putting on an unforgettable show. There were Olympics opening ceremonies with more fireworks, but few which communicated to people in the way Danny Boyle succeeded in doing.

Well never forget James Bond hanging (and jumping) out with the Queen. Now the world knows why you love Mr. Bean so much. Now onto the games and the more down to earth odds!
