Online Casino Group Won’t Close Man U Sponsorship Deal

The Mansion online casino group did not finalize the multi-million pound deal to sponsor the Manchester United football T-shirts. The online casino firm said that Manchester United is double dealing, and negotiations have ended. Online casino and gambling group, Mansion, was supposed to close a deal with Manchester United about a T-shirt sponsorship. The 60 million pound deal was intended for a 4-year period and the online casino group’s name was to be displayed on the team’s T-shirt for that period.

Mansion online casino group wanted to replace Vodafone as the next sponsor. The deal would mean that the online casino group’s name would be on the Manchester United football club shirts, and in thousands of retail shops all over Britain and other places that Man U paraphernalia is sold. The deal with the online casino group could make sponsorship history, and beat Chelsea FC’s GBP 50 million, five-year deal with electronic company Samsung.

The Gibraltar-based online casino group had to overcome stiff competition from three other major contenders – Etihad Airways, mobile phone giants O2, and electronics company LG, but the online casino group decided to end negotiations, after finding out that Manchester FC was dealing with other companies correspondingly.
