Unclaimed £8.1 Million Lottery Ticket was Bought in Colchester
It was revealed over the weekend that an unclaimed National Lottery ticket that is worth a whopping £8.1 million was bought in Colchester.
The ticket was bought for the draw on Wednesday 14 September and the winner has until 13 March next year to claim their prize. The lottery organisers Camelot are now urging players to thoroughly search for the ticket and check to see if they are unknowingly millionaires.
According to the new lottery rules as soon as the jackpot reaches £22 million it must be won in the next draw. Nobody matched all six numbers on September 14 so the £24.5 million jackpot was shared between three winners who matched five numbers and the bonus ball. The other two winners have already claimed their prize and the National Lottery is now hoping to find the final winner.
