Lottery Winner Partied Away Half His Win and Then Made it Back

A man who partied away half of his £1 million EuroMillion lottery win has now made it all back and some more.

Matt Myles spent £500,000 travelling through 22 countries, drinking champagne, busying designer clothes and partying. It looked like he was going to get through the entire sum when his mum stepped in and told him to stop. Myles then made a series of investments in medical shares, a film and property and his portfolio means he is now worth £1.1 million.

Myles said that he had the time of his life travelling around the world but acknowledged that he would have run out of money had he continued. He said that his mum’s words shocked him and he is now planning on fulfilling his lifelong dream of becoming a fireman after serving in the army for 5 years.
