Social Worker Hits P16 Million Lotto Jackpot
A gambler from Quezon City in the Philippines has become the country’s newest millionaire after he claimed a P16 million lotto jackpot prize from the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office main office in Mandaluyong City two weeks ago on Friday.
The winner is a 27 year old social worker who told the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office General Manager, Jose Ferdinand M. Rojas II, that he will be donating some of his winnings to the church, give some of it to his parents and relatives and save the rest of the money for his future family.
The winner said that the numbers he picked, 5, 11, 21, 24, 32 and 42, came from the birthdate of his fiancée. He won the jackpot from the draw that took place on June 30th and was personally handed the cheque by Rojas.
