Powerball Jackpot Worth $50 Million on Thursday

Last week there were no jackpot winners in the Australian Powerball draw so the jackpot has rolled over once again and is now worth a massive $50 million.

Last week’s winning numbers were 24, 35, 2, 26, 25, 29 and the Powerball was 8. There were 6 players that matched the six main numbers but not the Powerball and they received $148,462.40 each. A further 129 players matched five of the main numbers and the Powerball to win $7,223.95 each. In total there were 743,623 winning players that shared prizes worth a total of $16,439,231.00.

Prizes are won by matching at least two of the main numbers together with the Powerball or four of the main numbers without the Powerball. The jackpot is won by matching all six main numbers and the Powerball. Each line of numbers costs $1.70 and tickets can be bought online and across Australia.
