EuroJackpot Lottery Jackpot Reaches €31 Million for Friday’s Draw
On Friday players of the EuroJackpot lottery have the chance to win an enormous €31 million jackpot.Last Friday’s draw failed to produce any winners of the €26 million jackpot so this week it’s a rollover.
However, there were two players last week that won €261,779.50 while three players won €45,375.10. Overall there were more than 400,000 players that won prizes of at least €8.10.
The EuroJackpot is the newest of the multi-national European lotteries but it still offers jackpots worth millions of Euros.
Players need to choose five numbers between 1 and 50 inclusive and two additional “EuroNumbers” between 1 and 8 inclusive.
There are 12 different tiers of prizes to be won which means that the lottery always has a large number of winners. The bottom tier is won by matching 2 regular numbers and 1 EuroNumber while the jackpot is obviously won by matching all 7 numbers. However, as long as players match at least three numbers, regardless of whether they are regular numbers or EuroNumbers then they will receive a prize.
Tickets for the EuroJackpot can be bought at vendors across Europe; however, it is possible for players from anywhere in the world to purchase tickets online.
