NZ Lotto Offers Over $12 Million in Jackpots this Saturday
In this weekend’s New Zealand Lotto draw there will be $1 million up for grabs in the main draw, $11 million in the Powerball draw and $300,000 in the Strike draw.Earlier this week two players were lucky enough to win $500,000 in the Lotto draw while 15 players won $18,000. A total of $2,769,133 was given out in prizes to 41,349 players. No one hit the jackpot in the Powerball draw but 22 players won $3,623 and a further 71 won $151. The Strike draw also didn’t produce any jackpot winners but 81 players won $870 while 4,862 players won $81.
It is necessary to enter the main Lotto draw in order to enter the Powerball and Strike draws. The Lotto costs 60 cents per line, but players much choose a minimum of four lines. Strike costs $1 per line while the Powerball costs 60 cents per line and it is necessary to choose at least four lines.
Players need to pick six numbers between 1 and 40 for each line; alternatively you can choose a ‘dip’ in which case your numbers will be automatically chosen by computer.
To enter Powerball players need to pick an additional number between 1 and 10 while Strike requires players to pick the first four Lotto numbers in the correct order.
