Californian Man Buys Two Winning Lottery Tickets
According to the California Lottery, a man from southern California has won the lottery twice by playing the exact same set of numbers. Lottery officials said that Racy Pel bought one ticket which was worth a massive $50 million and another worth $32,304 on December 18th.
Both tickets were bought at the Finish Line Food Store in Los Alamitos. Pel has been playing the SuperLotto Plus with the same numbers for over six years and his persistence has certainly paid off.
In a statement Pal, who is the father of three children and clearly values education, said, “I purchase the tickets because the money goes back to the schools.”
Despite becoming a multimillionaire Pel has modest wishes. While most people would be thinking of retiring, Pel explained that at present his only plan for the money is to buy a new car as the one he currently owns is unreliable and often breaks down on the way to work.
