Mega Millions Jackpot Reaches $400 Million
Once again no one matched the winning Mega Millions numbers on the December 10th draw which means that the jackpot is now worth an estimated $400 million. If someone had won on December 10th then it would have been the fourth largest Mega Millions jackpot at $344 million.
Since there was no winner for the December 10th draw the Mega Million Jackpot has now reached an estimated $400 million.
The next Mega Millions draw will take place on Friday December 13th. The $400 million jackpot is the second largest in Mega Millions history and the fifth largest in all lotteries. If the winner chooses to take the cash prize instead of annuity it would amount to $216 million.
The Mega Millions jackpot hasn’t been won in over two months which has pushed the jackpot steadily higher.
The biggest ever jackpot was $656 million which was won in March 2012. In a Mega Millions draw five balls are selected from a set of balls numbered 1 through 75, the Mega ball is drawn from a set of fifteen balls.
