Nevada – Delaware Gaming Compact May Launch This Summer

There is a good chance that Nevada’s gaming compact with Delaware could launch this summer and Gov. Brian Sandoval has said that he hopes more states will join the compact.
Sandoval has already spoken to New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie about joining the Multi-State Internet Wager Agreement. At present New Jersey is the only other state with legal online gambling.

The platform to support the Nevada/Delaware gaming compact is being built with the aim of launching this summer.
Sandoval said, “If there are states that don’t have as sophisticated a regulatory structure as we have, that’s something we can offer. If your state doesn’t have the infrastructure, use our capabilities.”
According to Sandoval, after several months of vetting the process, Delaware and Nevada are now building the platform to start sharing online poker players.
After almost a year of operation, Nevada now has three online poker-only websites. The addition of Delaware to these websites will help grow player fields which will in turn result in larger prizes.
