Poll Shows Striking Support for Online Casino Sites

The United States federal government’s latest efforts to ban online casino sites are answered with overwhelming opposition by the public. Online Gambling Myths and Facts have completed their recent March 2006 poll and the numbers are published at their site. It seems that out of 30,000 likely voters more than 80 percent strongly oppose legislation against their favorite online casino sites. With such strong opposition for online casino bans the U.S. congress will have a hard time passing anti-gambling legislation.

Online casino sites are highly popular and many people regard them as home entertainment. The poll shows that 78 percent believe that their government isn’t suppose to tell adults what they should or should not use the Internet for while in the privacy of their own homes. Most online casino fans are using online casinos for the fun of the game and they think of online gambling sites as a different form of video games.

Most of the online casino players in the world are Americans. In case the American public will not be able to use online casino sites, the online casino industry will suffer tremendously. The American public is known for fighting for things they believe in, and if anti online casino laws are issued we are sure to see pubic response.
