Betting Continues on the Next James Bond

While it was confirmed a while ago that Daniel Craig will be resuming the role of James Bond in the twenty-fifth film due out in November next year, there is still plenty of speculation and betting on his replacement.

The twenty-sixth Bond film probably won’t be released until at least 2022, while this may seem like a long way away to some, plenty of people are busy placing bets. The runaway favourite is Taboo and Mad Max: Fury Road actor Tom Hardy with odds of around 3/1 at most major bookmakers. However, at some bookmakers you can get even shorter odds, of 5/2, on James Norton the star of the new BBC One series McMafia.

While these are favourites, there are some more unlikely names on the list, such as David Beckham, Will Smith and Colin Firth all at 200/1.
