MGM Launches Mobile Tournaments in Las Vegas Casinos
The casino operator MGM Resorts has launched real-money mobile casino tournaments for those staying in nine of its Las Vegas properties.
The operator has teamed with oneLIVE Inc. on a new mobile gaming platform, easyPLAY Mobile Tournaments, which gives guests the chance to play against each other in regularly scheduled casino contests for cash prizes. The new platform can be accessed via the InteractivePro Tables at the Aria, Bellagio, MGM Grand, Mandalay Bay, Mirage, Monte Carlo, Luxor, New York-New York and Excalibur casinos. It is also possible to play using mobile phones, tablets and laptops.
The tournaments run on a variety of games including slots, bingo and video poker. To kick things of MGM has launched the All Summer Long Winner Takes All Progressive Slot Tournament which costs $5 to enter and has a minimum top prize of $10,000 on offer.
