Leicester City Owner Wins £2.5 Million in Casino Following League Win

Just a few days after his team won the Premier League, Leicester City’s owner Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha went and won £2.5 million at a local casino.
He was playing in the Genting Casino in Leicester and spent the evening at the card tables with a group of friends. He even won enough to pay for all the Mercedes cars he promised to give to Leicester City’s players to thank them for their triumph.
It is thought that Mr Srivaddhanaprabha is worth around £2 billion making him Thailand’s fourth richest man. It is expected that he will offer the team a significant pay rise to ensure that it does not break up due to offers from rival clubs. He is an extremely popular figure within the club, both with fans to whom he sometimes provides free beer and with the players.
