William Hill Makes NMi Selection For UK Compliance Testing

The world’s most recognizable bookmaker, William Hill, has hired on the compliance specialist NMi to test its complete suite of online casino games, as required by the UK gambling commission.
Testing and audit actions were given new conditions following the new Gambling Act in the UK. The gaming giant is based in Leeds is now liable for a 15% tax of gross profits on transactions involving UK consumers. The new UK Gambling law is expected to up tax revenues to the tune of £300m per year for the HMRC.
William Hill provides bookmaking, poker, bingo, casino entertainment and financial trading, with land-based and online operations that reach tens of thousands on a daily basis.
