X Factor Contests Prepare For Battle in Judges’ Houses
This Friday night brings with it the first of the Judges’ Houses episodes of X Factor 2014. The remaining 24 acts have been flown to their mentor’s houses where they will be undergoing training before singing for a chance to compete in the Live Shows.
Each of the judges has brought another celebrity on side to help them with the process. Simon Cowell is being joined by Sinitta, Cheryl Fernandez-Versini by Tinie Tempah, Mel B by Emma Bunton and Louis Walsh by Tulisa.
Each judge has taken a different category of act. Cowell has taken the over 25s group where Jay James is favourite to win with odds of 4/6. However, he is closely followed by Ben Haenow who has odds of 5/2.
Louis Walsh is in charge of the groups. The newly formed 8 piece boy band is easily favourite to win that category with odds of 2/5. Only The Young trail with odds of 9/4.
Mel B is in charge of the boys category where competition is tough. Both Andrea Faustini and Paul Akister have odds of 6/4 to win and they are followed by Jack Walton at 9/2.
Finally, Cheryl has the girls category where Lauren Platt is easily favourite to win with odds of 2/1. She is followed by Kerrianne Covell and Lola Saunders both at 9/4.
