23 Players Confirmed for Big One for One Drop WSOP Event

With over three months to go until the $1 million buy-in Big One for One Drop poker tournament at the 2014 WSOP, 23 players have already signed up for the event.

When the event took place in 2012 48 players took part and in the end poker pro Antonia Esfandiari won and took home $18,346,673 as well as a platinum WSOP bracelet. The event rose over $5.3 million for the One Drop charitable organization.

This year’s event will take place from June 29th to July 1 and will have a maximum of 56 players. This means that the first-place prize could be as big as $20 million. Once again the winner will receive a special edition WSOP platinum bracelet created by jeweler Richard Mille.

Mille said, “I was thrilled when I got the call from the WSOP saying that with the commitments of the 2012 players alone, enough seats had been filled that the BIG ONE is a platinum bracelet event once again. We are hard at work creating a unique new bracelet. It’s a wonderful event with the added benefit of giving back, something we strongly believe in.”
