Charity Poker Tournaments Offer WSOP Main Event Seats

Next month two charity poker tournaments are taking place, both of which offer seats to the 2014 World Series of Poker Main Event as prizes.

Next month two charity tournaments give players the chance to win seats at the 2014 WSOP Main Event.
A number of celebrity sports personalities are taking part in the tournament hoping to win a seat at this year’s WSOP.
The charity was formed in memory of Mike Coolbaugh who died after being struck in the head by a line drive while coaching the Tulsa Drillers. It is possible to register for a pre-event buy-in of $200; the buy-in on the day will be $250.
On March 6th One Step Program is hosting the 2014 Charity Poker Championship in aid of Children’s Oncology Services at the National Hellenic Museum in Chicago. The tournament has $15,000 of prizes to give away including the seat at the WSOP. Last year the event attracted 270 players and this year a similar number of participants are expected. The Children’s Oncology Services is dedicated to improving the quality of life for children and adolescents diagnosed with cancer.
