$1 Million Poker Series at Maryland Live! Casino

The Maryland Live! Casino is to host its biggest tournament series since it opened last year. This March poker players can enjoy the $1 Million Live! Poker Classic.

The series is scheduled to take place from March 10th-24th and will consist of nine events. At least $1 million in prize money will be handed out over the course of the events with a $400,000 guaranteed, $3,500 buy-in Main Event at the heart of the series beginning on March 21st.

There are two other events which have six-figure guarantees, the $1,100 buy-in on March 14th and the $1,600 buy-in on March 18th.

Players can register for the series from February 16 however, there is limited seating for each event.

Mike Smith, the casino’s director of poker operations said, “Every event could be sold out by Feb. 20. If it is, at least we can tell everybody everything’s sold out. But I doubt that’ll happen. Poker players are notorious for not wanting to put their money in escrow.”
