Virgin Online Casino Set to Launch in New Jersey
Online gamblers in New Jersey will soon be able to play at The Virgin Group’s online casino which is due to launch this Friday. The company had previously delayed the launch while it worked to solve problems affecting a number of online sites such as login and payment issues and various software bugs.Virgin has partnered with the online game developer Gamesys which also runs the Tropicana online casino site. The COO of Gamesys, Lee Fenton, said, “We’ve been rehearsing this moment for several years in the U.K., including dealing with players who have bet more than $4.3 billion on Gamesys games in 2012.”
The new site will offer players over 30 games, and as with other New Jersey based sites it is only open to those physically within the state.
Fenton went on to say that he is confident of attracting players as, “There’s a lot of games on there that are tried and trusted from the casino floor, but there’s also a load of unique content—slot content or jackpot content that you can’t find in any brick-and-mortar casino.”
Furthermore, the site is launching with an excellent communal jackpot feature, each time a user wins $10,000 another $10,000 will be split between any other players logged into the site at the same time.
