Fabian Quoss Wins PCA $100,000 Super High Roller

The first event of the 2014 PokerStars Caribbean Adventure has come to a close with German player Fabian Quoss claiming victory in the PCA $100,000 Super High Roller. At the final table Quoss overcame Dan Shak to take the title and a massive $1,629,940 in prize money.

At the start of the final table Shak had the chip lead followed by Team PokerStars Pro Vanessa Selbst. Also at the table were Antonio Esfandiari, Tony Gregg, Matt Glantz and Ole Schemion.

Both Schemion and Gregg came to table with very few chips and the second hand saw both of them eliminated. Soon after Glantz was gone and after some exciting four handed play Esfandiari followed suit. It took a while for Selbst to be knocked out but before long Shak and Quoss were playing heads-up play.

After the game Shak said, “This one is probably one of the tougher [high rollers] of the year. The field was very strong, and I am very happy to have scored the title. Finally a few key all-ins went my way… obviously I’m very happy.”
