Stephen Chidwick Takes Lead in Eureka Prague Main Event
Stephen Chidwick is going into the penultimate day of the Eureka Prague Main Event with a comfortable chip lead over his nearest rival, Mark Dalimore, and forty-one other players.A total of 396 players made it to Day 2 of the tournament, but just forty-three have made it through to the penultimate day of the tournament. Chidwick was almost forced to miss the Main Event after he was held up in the travel chaos that hit the UK over the weekend, however, he managed to make it into Day 1B of the tournament as an alternative entry and has now built his stack to 1,479,000 chips.
Mark Dalimore trails Chidwick on the leaderboard with 1,379,000 chips. Dalimore acquired most of his chips when busting pocket Kings with pocket Queens in the last level of the night. Four hearts on the board gave Dalimore a flush and he jumped into second place.
In total 191 players from the Eureka Prague Main Event will wish cash. The unlucky player who finished in 192nd place was Jaxi Kiernan. All the other remaining players are guaranteed to win at least €1,750.
