101 ESPN Radio, River City Casino, a few sports celebrities and the Foster & Adoptive Care Coalition are coming together next month for a celebrity poker tournament at River City Casino to raise money for the Foster & Adoptive Care Coalition.

The tournament, which will be taking place on November 6th, is titled “The Big Deal for Kids” and all the money raised will help find foster families for hundreds of local children.

The tournament costs $150 to enter and players can compete with sports celebrities in a Texas Hold ‘Em Tournament.

Non-poker players can buy tickets for $100 and have the opportunity to learn poker from the experts. There will also be photo opportunities, drinks and food, wines and cheese and a silent auction.

It is also possible to join the Heartland Poker Tour which is taking place at the River Casino on the same night.

So far it has been confirmed that attending celebrities include the former St. Louis Blues player, Reed Low, ex-NFL player and scout Marc Lillibridge and 101 ESPN’s D’Marco Farr & Randy Karraker.
