Over 10 Million Hands Played at Ultimate Poker
At 10:22am PST on Thursday August 1st Ultimate Poker dealt its 10-millionth hand of real money online poker just a little over three months of going live.
The hand was played at a 25-cent/50-cent no limit hold’em table and the player “Steve Kelly” won $6.85 with an ace high hand as well as additional prize money of $5,000 from Ultimate Poker to celebrate.
All the other players at the table also received $500 for being a part of the hand.
Starting with the nine-millionth hand Ultimate Poker game away a total of $23,000 across 21 cash prizes leading up to the 10-millionth.
Ultimate Gaming’s chief marketing officer, Joe Versaci, described it as “incredible to be talking about our 10-millionth hand only three months after opening the doors. It gives us a good opportunity to look back at how far we’ve come and an even better excuse to run a great promotion.”
At the end of April Ultimate Gaming became the first company in the US to offer legal online poker and just two weeks ago the company received final approval from the Nevada Gaming Commission for its real money poker product.
