UltimatePoker to Host Live Tournament Series

The US’s first legal online poker site, UltimatePoker, is expanding into the world of land casinos by hosting a live tournament series at the Red Rock Casino in August.

The site is taking full advantage of its position as the first legal poker site in the US and is quickly approaching the 10 million hand mark. In order to mark the occasion it is taking its example from PokerStars and running the live series. Furthermore, UltimatePoker has also signed up an impressive number of pros including Antonio Esfandiari, Lauren Kling, William Reynolds and Jason Somerville.

UltimatePoker is now planning the UltimatePoker Challenge which will take place next month at the Red Rocks Casino.

It will be a nineteen event series with a $200,000 Guarantee $1000 + $100 No Limit Hold’em main event. The main event will begin on September 6^th. It is likely that the newly signed UltimatePoker pros will be playing in the event.
