World of Warcraft Filming to Begin in 2014

Originally Sam Raimi was meant to be directing the World of Warcraft film, however, the bosses at Blizzard didn’t like his vision of the film.

Filming for the film adaptation of World of Warcraft will being early next year according to producer Charles Roven
As a result Duncan Jones is going to be directing the film based upon the successful game series.
Recently the film’s producer, Charles Roven, said that filming will begin in early 2014, “First quarter 2014 we’re going to shoot that movie. We’re moving forward; obviously Legendary is making that film and I’m having a great time with Duncan.”
Now it is looking like there is a chance that the film will be released in 2015 as originally planned.
For now there isn’t much more information available about the film. However, ComicCon is just around the corner and it wouldn’t be surprising if information such as castings and promotional game tie-ins weren’t released. ComicCon is sure to attract a huge crowd of gamers who will be eager to snatch up any possible information on the film.
In the meantime, we are all just going to have to be patient and wait to find out what Blizzard, Jones and Roven have instore for us.
