Jamie Gold to Auction WSOP Bracelet
It is not yet known why, but 2006 World Series of Poker Main Event winner Jamie Gold is selling his championship bracelet. Heritage Auctions will be auctioning off the bracelet along with a Corum designed watch which was custom made for his victory.
It has been reported that bidding for the items will begin around July 13th and there will be a live auction on the first two days of August.
There are thirteen featured items in the Sports Signature Auction including Gold’s two lots.
Other lots include a Lou Gehrig game-worn baseball cap from the 1930s, a 1912 Major League Baseball World Series press pin, a 1958 Roger Maris game-worn jersey from his time with the Cleveland Indians and a 1962 Stan Musical game-worn jersey.
The auction house has described the bracelet as featuring 259 stones including over seven carats of diamonds and 120 grams of white and yellow gold. There are rubies used to create the red of the diamond and heart suits and a sapphire represents the spade, three black diamonds are used for clubs.
