Online Poker Millionaires
It is common to hear talk of people winning millions playing online poker, so here is a quick look at the top earning poker players.
The number one earner of all time is Phil Ivey whose career earnings total over $19,242,743. Nearly all of Ivey’s earnings come from playing at Full tilt Poker. However, in addition to his on line winnings he has won over $17.6 million playing in live tournaments which includes nine WSOP bracelets.
Ivey also once won $11.5 million playing Baccarat at London’s Mayfair casino in just two sessions.
Next up is Finnish poker star Patrik Antonius who has won 411,315,549 playing online.
He was the winner of the biggest online pot ever when he took $1,356,947 playing against Viktor Blom in 2009. Antonius is another former member of FTP and has also earned close to $6 million in live tournaments.
Another impressive player is Phil Galfond who has won $10,035,683. In 2009 Galfond co-founded BlueFirePoker which earns him a six-figure salary each year. Galfond rarely takes part in live tournaments but he has one WSOP bracelet to his name.
