Rolling Stones Glastonbury Performance Betting Odds
It was recently confirmed that the Rolling Stones will be headlining the Saturday night of this year’s Glastonbury festival. This is the first time that the Rolling Stones have played Glastonbury and it may be the last time that they play together after 51 years as a band.
Rumours about the band performing began last June when sources said that Glastonbury would be the last date on their 50th anniversary tour and in October the festival organiser, Michael Eavis, said he was “desperate to get the band confirmed.”
Now Paddy Power has opened betting markets on the Stones’ performance. The first market is on the first song that they will perform. The favourite is Paint It Black at 5/2, followed by Gimme Shelter at 11/4. Other options are Its Only Rock n Roll at 3/1, Start Me Up at 5/1 and Get Off My Cloud at 6/1.
The other betting market is on the final song of the Stones’ set. The favourite is Satisfaction at 6/4 followed by Jumpin Jack Flash at 9/4 and You Can’t Always Get What You Want at 7/2. Other options are Sympathy for the Devil at 6/1, Brown Sugar at 7/1 and Start Me Up at 10/1.
