WSOP APAC Accumulator Event Update
The World Series of Poker Asia Pacific is underway and the $1100 No Limit Hold’em “Accumulator” tournament has finished its three Day Ones with Antoine Saout from France emerging as leader.
The first two Day Ones say 330 players taking part each day and the third day did not disappoint with all most 500 players competing. The first player out was Aussie Millions Champion Oliver Speidel who bust on the first hand of the day.
There were two players who returned from earlier Day Ones in order to try and add to their stacks. Dan Kelly came out top on Day 1A and throughout Day 1C he slowly added to his chip pile, he slipped up a bit towards the end of the day but he still increased his stack from 66,250 to 82,050.
Antoine Saout, the Day 1B leader also came back for more. He was soon knocking players out and built a second stack of 45,000 chips, together with his stack of 59,875 from Day 1B this gives him a total of 104,375 going into Day 2.
There will be 175 players taking part in Day 2 who will be battling it out as they chase after the first ever WSOP APAC bracelet.
