PokerStars Releases SCOOP 2013 Schedule

A possible schedule of this year’s Spring Championship of Online Poker has been published by PokerStars

This year’s SCOOP includes an impressive 42 events, two more than last year’s.

As in the past yeach event offers players the choice of three buy-in amounts, low, medium and high. This allows players with any size of bankroll to participate in all 126 tournaments.

The schedule includes a huge variety of games such as no-limit hold’em, no-limit draw, seven-card stud, Omaha hi-lo, pot-limit Omaha and badugi.

The series starts with a six-max no-limit hold’em event on May 12th at 11am ET. The Main Event will take place on Sunday May 26th with buy-ins set at $109, $1,050 and $10,300. Last year’s Main Event was won by Nick “GripDsNutz” Grippo  who took home $798,675 after a three-way chop.

The schedule is not yet definitive and PokerStars is asking for comments and feedback about the tournaments. Comments posted so far suggest that there is some discrepancy over the pot-limit Omaha events. People are also requesting that weekends should have more events and Sundays should not exclusively hold no-limit hold-em games.
