While much of the focus has been on the recent Powerball jackpot win, there have been some other fantastic wins around the states.

Colon chose to receive his winnings as a one-time lump sum of $808,134 after taxes. There was a second winning ticket sold by the prize has not yet been claimed.
At Fort Lee three sergeants are celebrating winning a $1 million Powerball jackpot. Staff Sergeants Nathan Sutherland, David Jenkins and Sergeant First Class Robert Gallow matched the first five numbers on their winning ticket and were just missing the Powerball number.
The sergeants are members of Tango Company, 266th Quartermaster Battalion, U. S. Army Quartermaster School, Combined Arms Support Command at Fort Lee, Virginia.
In the meantime the All-Arkansas jackpot has grown to a record high of $240,000. The $1 Arkansas-only jackpot game has only been running since August last year and already it has helped fund scholarships and produce some big winners. The game is exclusive to Arkansas and has an impressive 1 in 9 chance of winning a prize.
