Still No Winner of Powerball Jackpot
None of the tickets sold for the weekend’s Powerball draw matched all six numbers drawn. The numbers were 3, 7, 21, 44, 53 and Powerball 16.
If any player had been lucky enough to match all six of the numbers they would have won (or possibly shared) the $216 million jackpot. As it has not yet been won it is expected to grow to around $260 million by Wednesday’s draw.
However, there were thirteen tickets that matched all numbers apart from the Powerball. Holders of these tickets will receive $1 million each. The tickets were sold in Arizona, Columbia, Georgia, Illinois, Louisiana, Missouri, New Jersey, New York, Texas, Virginia, West Virginia and two in Maryland.
There were three Power Play Match 5 winners, one in Colorado and two in Illinois.
The Powerball jackpot is currently one of the largest lottery jackpots in the world. The biggest Powerball jackpot in history was one in November last year; the $587.5 million prize was split between two ticket holders. Also last year a $656 million Mega Millions jackpot was split by three winners.
