World’s Biggest Wordsearch Record Breaking Attempt
AppyNation and Supersonic Software have announced that they have developed a new puzzle for PC, smartphones and tables, the World’s Biggest Wordsearch.
Pete Williamson, the MD at Supersonic, said “We’re trying to set a new world record for the biggest wordsearch in existence by publishing this superbly polished piece of puzzle fun both as a giant poster and on PC, iOS, Android and the Amazon Appstore.”
However, he said that they need to raise some funds for development in order to set the world record. As a result they have launched a Kickstarter campaign.
Williamson said that backers will receive the printed poster version of the puzzle along with “copies of the game on PC, credits in the game, limited edition signed prints of the puzzle and even the chance to immortalise your name inside the puzzle as a reward for backing the project.”
The puzzle will contain 5,750 words hidden in a lattice of over 60,000 letters. It has been built on over 350 themes and includes a secret message and 45 ‘Trophy’ words. It is thought that the puzzle will take over 40 hours to solve for a committed puzzler.
