Facebook Post Leads to Poker Room Robbery Arrest

A photo posted on Facebook led to the police arresting a man suspected of a violent robbery outside a poker room.

The police were looking for a man who had attacked a 64 year old man outside The Poker Room on January 31st and stole $80 from him.

Police say that the suspect waited in the car park and saw the victim walking to his car. The victim was then beaten over the head repeatedly and the suspect’s gun went off at least 4 times.

After the robbery was reported the police posted a photo of a hat that was found at the scene and believed to belong to the suspect. The photo was then posted on Facebook by the Crimeline for the Hamptons and a man recognised it and phoned the tip line.

The tip led to the arrest of Lisio and in the meantime the victim has been recovering from his injuries.
