Caesars Releases 2013 WSOP Schedule
Last week Caesars Interactive Entertainment announced the official schedule for the 2013 World Series of Poker.
Running from May 29th at the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino, the Series will include 62 bracelet events and end with the $10,000 Main Event beginning on July 7th.
This year’s WSOP features a number of new events including two bracelet tournaments which are raising money for the One Drop foundation.
The “Little One for One Drop” has a $1,111 buy-in and has unlimited re-entries over the first two days. There is also a $111,111 buy-in high roller event taking part from June 26th – 28th.
The One Drop Foundation will be receiving a percentage of each buy-in from the events.
There is also a new “Millionaire Maker” event taking place over the opening weekend. One lucky participant will be able change a $1,500 buy-in into $1 million of prize money.
The event starts on Saturday June 1 and is a one-day start, two-flight, single re-entry, no-limit hold’em event. Rather than using the usual WSOP pay structure, the entire prize pool will be won by one player.
Tournament Director Jack Effel said, “We think this is the most diverse schedule we’ve ever had and we’ll be ready for an all-time turn-out at the 44th annual WSOP.”
