Full Tilt Launches European Site
Last Monday the online poker site FullTiltPoker.eu went live. However, despite having a different suffix to FullTiltPoker.com, the two sites are virtually identical and players will see hardly any difference in their playing experience.
The first set of players to move from the .com to the .eu site came from Greece, Luxembourg and Slovenia.
In the near future players from Finland, Germany, Netherlands, Poland, Romania and Sweden will follow.
Players need not worry, aside from downloading the new software there are hardly any differences.
Players can use the same login for both sites and will find all their account information, funds, bonuses and everything will have been transferred.
Players will even be playing at the same tables as at the .com site.
It seems Full Tilt has done this in order to allow players to take advantage of favourable tax laws in their countries.
In some EU countries online gambling winnings are not taxed as long as the site being played at is in the European Economic Area (EEA). The EEA consists of all countries in the EU as well as Iceland, Lichtenstein and Norway.
