Go Daddy to Feature .CO in Super Bowl Add
For the third year in a row the web hosting giant Go Daddy is featuring the .CO domain in its Super Bowl commercial.
At the moment not much is known about the 30-second advert, all the press release says is that it will feature the Go Daddy Girl Danica Patrick and will be aimed “at anyone who has ever thought about starting their own business.”
In the previous two adverts, the .CO marketing campaigns have proven successful at promoting the .CO domain.
Last year’s advert resulted in a significant amount of traffic to the GoDaddy.co website and 2011’s advert resulted in a 466% increase in domain name registrations within 15 minutes of being shown.
The CEO and founder of .CO Internet S.A.S, Juan Diego Calle, said that “The Super Bowl is unlike any other broadcast event in the world.
We get to share our message with more than a hundred million people during a program where many tune in especially for the commercials. So what will we do? We’re going to inspire people to seize the moment — to actually launch their big ideas online!”
This is the ninth time that Go Daddy is advertising at the Super Bowl.
