Weekly Jackpot Winners Roundup

There have been some massive jackpots paid out this week. First of all Arizona Lottery officials released the name of the man who claimed half of the record Powerball jackpot.
Matthew Good took a one-time payout of $192 million which he won in the Nov. 28 draw. Good is in his 30s and lives in the Phoenix suburb of Fountain Hills where he bought the ticket.
Good bought $10 worth of tickets and had kept the winning one in the visor of his car overnight before realising that he’d won millions of dollars.
Good and his wife immediately hired a team of financial advisers after learning that they’d won and decided to take a one time payment to avoid potentially higher taxes next year.
In other news, the M Resort in Henderson announced that a Las Vegas local won $17.3 million on one of the casino’s slot machines. According to the resort spokeswoman, Ann Lackomar, there was a buzz on the casino floor when the player hit the Megabucks jackpot on Friday afternoon.
The winner has chosen to remain anonymous but is known that he was playing a Reels 3X4X5X Double Times Pay machine, which is part of a state-wide progressive jackpot.
