Paddy Power Open Betting Markets On Petraeus Scandal
In recent weeks the world has been closely following the Petraeus scandal unfold in the United States and of course bookmakers Paddy Power hasn’t missed the opportunity to open a few betting markets.
Petraues, the former Director of the CIA resigned after it was uncovered that he had been having an affair with his biographer Paula Broadwell.
The first market they opened is on when the movie of the scandal will be released.
The most likely years are 2016/17 with odds of 9/2, 2015 has odds of 5/1, 2014 12/1 and next year is of course the least likely at 20/1.
Then there is a market open on who will play David Petraeus in the film.
Paddy Power has a number of possible candidates favourite is Jeff Bridges with odds of 7/1 followed by Ed Harris and Tommy Lee Jones with odds of 8/1.
At the other end of spectrum Paddy Power has chosen Gerard Depardieu as the least likely with odds of 100/1. Not far behind are Morgan Freeman (80/1), Liam Neeson and John Travolta (both at 50/1).
The final betting market is on who will play Paula Broadwell. Hilary Swank is favourite at 5/1 followed by Toni Collette at 6/1. Least likely are Drew Barrymore and Sofia Vergara at 40/1.
