It has been revealed that the swimming trunks worn by Daniel Craig in ‘Casino Royal’ are to be auctioned on Global James Bond Day.

It has been revealed that the swimming trunks worn by Daniel Craig in ‘Casino Royal’ are to be auctioned on Global James Bond Day.

The trunks are expected to fetch around $8,000 with all proceeds going to charities such as UNICEF and Britain’s Tickets for Troops. There will also be dozens of other Bond film props being auctioned off at Christie’s as the 50th anniversary of Dr. No is celebrated.

Other items in the auction include the Aston Martin from the Quantum of Solace. The car is a 6 LLitre V12 DBS 2-Door Coupe and it is expected to fetch up to $225,000, all proceeds from the car will be donated to the charity Barnardos.

The Tarot cards used by Jane Seymour in Live and Let Die are also for sale along with the belt with the golden bullet buckle from The Man with the Golden Gun and Brosnan’s charcoal Brioni suit from The World is Not Enough.

The auction will be running online from September 28th to October 8th and there will also be a special live auction, with a number of additional items for sale, taking place on Global James Bond Day (October 5th).
