Blizzard Release World of Warcraft Cinematic
World of Warcraft fans are eagerly anticipating the Mist of Pandaria expansion and in preparation Blizzard previewed the opening cinematic to the game at the Gamescom conference in Cologne.
The clip features some stunning CGI which shows off the games new lands and mechanics. It focuses on two members of the factions Alliance and Horde who crash land on a mystery island and discover someone who seems remarkably similar to Kung Fu panda.
Blizzard has also released a number of shorter trailers which reveal a number of new aspects of the game ranging from new dungeons and raids to the new scenario system and some of the abilities of the monk class. This mini trailers use in-game footage so give fans a real sense of sights and sounds that they can enjoy in the new expansion.
The expansion will include a number of new features for the game such as a farming mini-game and a Pokemon style pet battle system. The latest patch will also open up all the races of Azeroth to anyone regardless of which version of the game they own.
