Casino New Brunswick to Accommodate Music Lovers
U2 fans could be in for a real gaming treat this month as the band prepares to take to the stage at New Brunswick’s Magnetic Hill concert site. The group, which is performing in Canada as part of its 360 World Tour, will be storming the venue on July 30 where it will appear in front of a crowd of up to 100,000 spectators for one of the most hotly anticipated events of the year so far.
Meanwhile the nearby Casino New Brunswick has turned the occasion into a gaming opportunity and will be offering a new service to fans attending the July gig. The popular casino, which opened its doors to players just over one year ago, will be offering access to its parking lot for concert goers keen to hear the legendary Irish band. Located less than two kilometres from the concert venue itself, the site will reward those who purchase parking passes for $30 with $30 worth of ‘Bonus Bucks’ to enjoy at their leisure at the casino.
Commenting on the decision to get involved, the Casino New Brunswick communications and media relations manager said that the event gave the casino the opportunity to accommodate music lovers and “be part of the concert weekend”. “It’s our chance to familiarize people with the casino”, added Christine Manore, saying that the promotion would publicise the venue as a potential “entertainment choice” for the future. Music fans will no doubt be counting down the days as one of the world’s most exciting bands gears up to dazzle audiences like never before.
