Ceasars Palace Casino Presents the Legendary Cher

Cher will be giving 200 performances over the next 3 years at the Colloseum despite rumours of cancer. The rumours started when she had to cancel two shows at the Colloseum early in October.

Shows will run 4 nights a week, Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday. She laughs off the rumours saying it is just that rumours. According to her it was due to a sore throat that she had to cancel some shows in Las Vegas. And people have been saying all sorts of thing about this mega star for decades after all. She is a show stopper and no doubt crowds will line up to see her and probably also play at the casino after the show.

Caesars Palace is probably the best known resort casino in the world. Built on 85 acres in the style of Grecian and Roman splendour. The casino was the brainchild of Jay Sarno who started construction of the casino in 1965. The splendour has become a much copied theme for most casinos on the Las Vegas strip and other parts of the US. Sarno named the casino Caesars Palace without an apostrophe because he said he wanted all his guests to feel like a Caesar.

The Colloseum can seat 3,400 people and is right next to celebrity chef restaurants and the renowned Forum Shops at Caesars. Performers like Bette Midler and Jerry Seinfeld regularly appear at the Colloseum, a truly world class venue with world class performers.
